John Wright Named President of McDonald Sanders Law

Hallie currently oversees Creative Services at McDonald Sanders, P.C., one of Fort Worth’s oldest, and most respected law firms downtown. One of her responsibilities is to oversee any and all firm-related press releases.

Fort Worth, TX, March 16, 2023 – John Wright has been named the new President at McDonald Sanders Law Firm. Wright, who has been with the firm since 1988, specializes in business and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and business planning and organization.

The firm, which started as a partnership in 1951, went through multiple name variations before becoming a Professional Corporation on December 27, 1990, in which Rick Sorenson was named the firm’s first President. He remained in that leadership role until John was recently.

“John Wright’s election as President of McDonald Sanders is a natural progression. John is not only an outstanding lawyer in his own right but a proven leader who has been at the core of our firm’s management for many years. The process to become President consists of a vote among the 14 Managing Directors.

John and his wife Diane enjoy playing golf at Colonial Country Club when he’s not at the firm’s downtown Fort Worth location. John also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Hill School of Fort Worth, is on the Board of Directors for A Wish With Wings, and is a proud member of the Arts & Business Connection of Tarrant County.
