There’s something special about a business bringing its clients together to celebrate the relationships that make it successful. Katydid It Aesthetics did just that with its Client Appreciation Party, and Vasseur Creative Services had the pleasure of capturing the occasion through event photography.

More Than Just a Photography Client

This event was particularly special to me because I’ve personally been a client of Katydid It Aesthetics for several years. Both owner Katy Stelter and Adam Clark have performed multiple treatments for me over the years, and I’ve experienced firsthand the level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail they bring to their work.

There’s a reason Katydid It Aesthetics is an award-winning med spa. They’ve been recognized in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s DFW Favorites awards for three consecutive years, earning honors in categories including Aesthetic Medicine, Med-Spa, Day Spa, and Facials, along with recognition as a Woman-Owned Business in 2026.

Having been on the receiving end of their services for years, I can personally attest to why they’ve earned such a loyal following. It was a pleasure to be on the other side of the experience this time, behind the camera, helping document a celebration of the clients and relationships that have contributed to their success.

A Celebration with Plenty of Personality

Katydid It Aesthetics knows how to make its clients feel appreciated, and this event was no exception.

One of the highlights was an adorable vintage turquoise Volkswagen bus from Bubble Bus Co., serving cocktails and adding a fun, retro touch to the celebration. Guests also enjoyed creative individual charcuterie cups from Sunny & Board Charcuterie, along with sweet pastries from Blue Bonnet Bakery.

And it wasn’t just about the food and drinks! The party also featured mahjong tables (this is where The Mahj Clubhouse is!), giving guests an opportunity to play a few games, mingle, and enjoy a little friendly competition. It was such a fun addition to the celebration and another thoughtful way to bring people together.

From the unique vendors and delicious treats to the mahjong games and welcoming atmosphere, the event was a wonderful reflection of the care and attention to detail that Katy and her team bring to everything they do.

And of course, all these details made for some fantastic photo opportunities.

Shooting an event goes beyond just documenting who attended. It’s about capturing the energy of an event, the candid interactions, and the little details that help tell a business’s story.

From guests enjoying the festivities to the beautifully presented food, mahjong games, and creative vendor setups, my goal was to document the celebration in a way that Katydid It Aesthetics could look back on and share with its community.

This kind of photography also gives businesses a collection of images they can continue using long after the celebration ends, from social media and website content to marketing materials and future event promotions.
